Back to our Saturday Blog Hop. Our theme this week is Black and white.

This is perfect because I love to create in black and white. I went with a favorite bundle of mine –

Oh So Eclectic Bundle, Oh So Eclectic, Oh So Eclectic, Pick a Pattern Washi Tape, CCMC, black & white, 2017-2018 Catalog

The Oh So Eclectic Bundle. Isn’t this just the prettiest? Although it’s monochromatic, it’s still so cheerful!

libbystamps, stampin up, Oh So Eclectic Bundle, Oh So Eclectic, Oh So Eclectic, Pick a Pattern Washi Tape, CCMC, black & white, 2017-2018 Catalog

The focal point and the leaves are all popped up! The Mini-sized Dimensionals sure came in handy behind the leaves. They are so tiny! No more cutting them in half!

Check out the other Design Team members and see their wonderful Black and White creations! Comments are always appreciated!

Supplies –

  • Stamp Set – Oh So Eclectic
  • Framelits – Eclectic Layers, Layering Circles, Stitched Shapes Framelits,
  • Bundles – Oh So Eclectic
  • Card Stock – Whisper White, Basic Black, Vellum
  • Ink – Tuxedo Black Memento
  • Other – Pick a Pattern Washi Tape, Basic Black Baker’s Twine, Mini Dimensionals

Eclectically Missing You

It Thursday. You know what that means. Time for an awesome challenge from Create with Connie and Mary.

We are doing things a bit different for a few weeks as you can see. We have a neat sketch from the catalog to spark the creativity. You go with the layout or the colors in the above picture.

I went with the layout –

libbystamps, stampin up, Classic Label Punch, Eclectic Layers Thinlits, Layered Leaves Dynamic EF, Oh So Eclectic, Oh So Eclectic  Bundle, Stitched Shapes Framelits

I am totally loving this Oh So Eclectic Bundle! The watercolor pattern paper is called Naturally Eclectic Designer Series Paper – matches perfectly! It’s part of the suite of products that all coordinate!!

The flag sits upon a an embossed layer made from the new Layered Leaves Dynamic embossing folder. It’s really cool in that it makes different heights of leaves on the paper that is embossed.

libbystamps, stampin up, Classic Label Punch, Eclectic Layers Thinlits, Layered Leaves Dynamic EF, Oh So Eclectic, Oh So Eclectic  Bundle, Stitched Shapes FramelitsI stamped the flower image and then framelit cut it out. Made for a really pretty flower without cutting out the whole thing – there is a separate shape to do that! The sentiment is also in the set too!

You can see what the other Design Team members created on our blog. To link up a card, head to our Facebook page. Join us! Challenges are SO much fun!

Supplies –

  • Stamp Set – Oh So Eclectic
  • Framelits – Eclectic Layers, Stitched Shapes
  • Bundles – Oh So Eclectic
  • Card Stock – Lemon Lime Twist, Emerald Envy, Whisper White
  • Ink – Lemon Lime Twist, Emerald Envy
  • DSP – Naturally Eclectic
  • Punches – Classic Label
  • Other – Layered Leaves Dynamic EF, Emerald Envy Baker’s Twine

Watercooler Wednesday #118 – Penny’s ‘Mom’ Theme Challenge

Middle of the week inspiration coming from Watercooler Wednesday  today! Our theme today, you guessed it –

I have created lots of different cards for Mother’s Day. I was thinking…..another one??

Well, after reading of some of my team members situations of loosing their own moms, I let that be my inspiration –

libbystamps, stampin up, Labeler Alphabet, Layering Squares Framelits, Stitched Shapes Framelits, Fruit Stand DSP, Sweetheart Punch, Copper Foil Sheets, Falling Petals EF, WWC118

‘Mother in my heart’ – I thought was appropriate for the situation. And, simply done with the Labeler Alphabet!

libbystamps, stampin up, Labeler Alphabet, Layering Squares Framelits, Stitched Shapes Framelits, Fruit Stand DSP, Sweetheart Punch, Copper Foil Sheets, Falling Petals EF, WWC118

Hard to see in both photos, but, the sentiment is framed with a scalloped piece of Copper Foil! It goes really nicely with all the shades of pink here. The card base is Blushing Bride, layered with the embossed Pink Pirouette. So pretty!

Supplies –

  • Stamp Set – Labeler Alphabet
  • Framelits – Layering Squares, Stitched Shapes
  • Card Stock – Pink Pirouette, Blushing Bride, Whisper White
  • Ink – Chocolate Chip
  • DSP – Fruit Stand
  • Punches – Sweetheart
  • Other – Falling Petals EF, Copper Foil Sheets

Eastern Beauty Thank You

Time to be inspired with another Create with Connie and Mary  challenge this week.

Nice color selection to design with. Too bad the Mint Macaron and the Tip Top Taupe are retiring.

I’m playing around with the new Eastern Palace Suite again! It’s so fun! This time, I did some stamping with the stamp set.

libbystamps, stampin up, Eastern Beauty, Eastern Medallions Thinlits, Stitched Shapes Framelits, Eastern Palace Bundle, CCMC456

I cut one of the shapes out from the coordinating framelits, pairing it with the Stitched Shapes Framelits.

This is just a ‘suite’ card, wouldn’t you agree? I’d love to read a comment from you!

Check out the other Design Teams cards and join us this week with these fabulous colors!

You can link up that card on our Facebook page as well.

Supplies –

You are Amazing

Hi Stampers! Today I have a card I designed for Try Stampin’ on Tuesday.

Challenge #317. Optional Theme : A Ray of Sunshine

What a great challenge to get you to thinking! Wouldn’t you agree?

This is what I came up with –

libbystamps, stampin up, All Things Thanks, Sunburst Thinlits, Stitched Shapes Framelits, TSOT

I think I got it right on the mark! It’s simply fun! Bright too! You almost need sunglasses!

libbystamps, stampin up, All Things Thanks, Sunburst Thinlits, Stitched Shapes Framelits, TSOT

I like the addition of the 2 circles, one in front of the starburst, the other behind. The retired Stampin’ Up Cloudy Day embossing isn’t half bad either! It added just what the card needed!

I hope that I inspired you to create a card using a Ray of Sunshine as your starting point to join us this week! You can link up on our blog  or on our Facebook page – so, you have no reason not to show us a project!

Happy Stampin’

Watercooler Wednesday #112, Anything Goes

Happy Wednesday!

Having a creative morning so far? Well, Watercooler Wednesday has a new challenge that might spark your creativity!

As you can see, we have an ‘Anything Goes’ challenge! Which means, whatever you’re working on right now – you can enter it in our challenge! How fun is that?

I created something specifically for the challenge here –

ibbystamps, stampin up, Avant Garden, Carried Away DSP, Stitched Shapes Framelits, WWC112, Sale-a-Bration

As Sale-a-bration is winding down, a few more ink ups on this wonderful Avant Garden stamp set, and this lovely, versatile Carried Away Designer Series paper, DSP.

My flowers I inked up once and stamped three times to get this lovely look. And, yes, I hand cut them out.

ibbystamps, stampin up, Avant Garden, Carried Away DSP, Stitched Shapes Framelits, WWC112, Sale-a-Bration

Greeting is stamped full strength. I tied everything up with the Basic Black Baker’s Twine. This time on the right side to be a little different. Very serene, but elegant.

libbystamps, stampin up, Avant Garden, Carried Away DSP, Stitched Shapes Framelits, WWC112, Sale-a-Bration

Someone decided I wasn’t paying enough attention to them! She decided to join the photoshoot! Who doesn’t just love kitty paws!?!?!?!? And, look at that tail – so precarious!

Comments are always welcomed!

Please see what our other Design Team members created. Participate in our challenge – this is an easy one to join in on!

Supplies –

  • Stamp Set – Avant Garden
  • Framelits – Stitched Shapes Framelits
  • Card Stock – Whisper White
  • Ink – Tuxedo Black Memento
  • DSP – Carried Away
  • Other – Basic Black Baker’s Twine

Birthday Wild

Currently I am creatin’ when I can……it’s a busy, busy, busy week….

I have a Card Buffet next weekend and challenge alway seem to help me figure it out!

I liked this challenge from a Facebook group, Stampin’ Girls Gone Wild

16681482_10211173702715062_1569638146832970015_n

It’s just a classic layout!

In no time I created this –

libbystamps, stampin up, Milestone Moments, Bold Butterflies Framelits, Layering Circles Framelits, Stitched Shapes Framelits, Falling in Love DSP, Card Buffet, SGGW

It’s such a sweet birthday card! This DSP really helped to create a fabulous card without effort!

libbystamps, stampin up, Milestone Moments, Bold Butterflies Framelits, Layering Circles Framelits, Stitched Shapes Framelits, Falling in Love DSP, Card Buffet, SGGW

The circle focal point I did move to the other side (from the sketch) because it just looked better over the sentiment. The font of this sentiment in Milestone Moments matches this paper perfectly! Sometimes that’s really hard to find just the right stamp!

libbystamps, stampin up, Milestone Moments, Bold Butterflies Framelits, Layering Circles Framelits, Stitched Shapes Framelits, Falling in Love DSP, Card Buffet, SGGW

And, I also used dimensionals to raise the focal point a bit.

What do you think? We have a winner? Would this be a great choice on the Card Buffet next weekend? Comments are always welcomed!

Happy Stampin’
