Grateful You Everyday

Happy Tuesday my stampin’ friends! Time for another great challenge from Try Stampin’ on Tuesday!

Here is our newest challenge to get you inspired –

Optional Theme : Field of Flowers

Perfect time to play with the Garden Impressions Designer Series Paper! It’s on sale until the end of the month, buy 3 Designer Series Papers and get the 4th FREE!

I picked a pattern and that became my foundation for my card. I designed this from there –

libbystamps, stampin up, A Big Thank You, Abstract Impressions, Stitched Shapes Framelits, Spot of Tea Framelits, Garden Impressions 6x6 DSP, TSOT

I stamped the sentiment and added the flowers in Calypso Coral under it. I stamped the flowers a few times without re-inking the stamp. After stamping, I framelit cut the square.

I chose the circle frame from the Spot of Tea Framelits. It is nice and simple for this card design.

The card came together quickly with the start of this bold Garden Impressions Designer Series Paper!

Thanks for stopping by today! Check out the other Design Team cards at Try Stampin’ on Tuesday. You can also join us in our challenge, create a card and show it off on our blog or our Facebook page.

Favorite New Catalog Bundle – Create with Connie and Mary Saturday Blog Hop

Welcome to the Saturday Create with Connie and Mary blog hop!

Our theme this week features our Favorite New Catalog Bundle!

Perfect chance to play with some wonderful new stuff. I’ve been having way too much fun with the Broadway Bound Suite. Time to give some other products some love.

How about the Bouquet Blooms?

It’s a really interesting set because the pieces interlock together!

Looking into the inside of the card, you can see it more apparent as it opens.

The inside of the card has the detailing base that gets decorated on the outside.

Going back to the card front, I cut additional Call Me Clover leaves and trimmed them to place over the pink ones cut into the card front.

I also stamped and framelit cut several flowers in Pineapple Punch. I placed one over the pink flower also cut into the card front. The others were placed randomly on the card front.

I tucked one aditional leaf behind the flowers and added the oval sentiment.

To create this lovely card, you start with a 5 x 9 piece of card stock. The framelits line up at the ends to cut the detailing. They even leave a tick line so you know where to score to fold the card.

The finished card is 3 1/2 x 5. Perfect for an envelope from our Note Card & Envelopes or make one using the Envelope Punch Board.

I’m anxious to see what everyone, including Debbie Henderson, and Mary Brown have chosen as their favorite new catalog bundles! I know we will both be inspired to see all of the projects on the hop!

Playing around with some new colors for Create with Connie and Mary and our newest challenge.

We are ‘CASE’ing the new catalog!

Here was my take on it –

libbystamps, stampin up, Accented Blooms, May Flowers Framelits May Flowers, Stitched Shapes Framelits, Layering Squares Framelits, Ruffled Dynamic EF, In-Color 2018-2020 6x6 DSP, CCMC

My card base and flower are both Powder Pink. The Ruffled embossed panel is Melon Mambo. The frame and stamped sentiment is the new In-Color, Lovely Lipstick. It’s also one of the colors in the 6×6 Designer Series Paper Stack.

I can’t wait to send this out!

Happy May 5th!!!!

Playing with new stuff for Create with Connie and Mary and our Saturday blog hop.

Our theme this week features the Love What You Do Bundle.

It will be in the upcoming catalog, but is available for purchase now. It’s a really pretty suite of products. You can see them here.

I went with a brighter card –

libbystamps, stampin up, Love What You Do, Got To Have It All Bundle, Layering Circles Framelits, Share What You Love DSP, Rich Razzleberry 1/4 Velvet Ribbon, Pearlized Doilies, Lovely Floral Dynamic Textured Embossing Folder, CCMC, Stitched Shapes FramelitsThe colors in this suite are absolutely gorgeous!

My base here is Rich Razzleberry. I layered on the new color, Grapefruit Grove, then a piece of the Share What You Love Designer Series Paper.

We are all creating cards using the suite pf products! You’ll be so inspired! Go forward to Debbie Henderson, and back to Mary Brown. They’ll have awesome creations!

Mom, You’re Truly Amazing

I’m so excited for our newest sketch at Try Stampin’ on Tuesday!

Challenge #363. Optional Theme : Motherly Love

I just love these simple sketches! Love them!

I went right away to create this –

libbystamps, stampin up, Apron of Love, Yay You, Rose Garden Thinlits, Stitched Shapes Framelits, Layering Circles Framelits, Petal Garden 6x6 DSP Stack, Banner Triple Punch, TSOT

Paper Folded in Half

Hello my Thursday friends!

I have a wonderful card created for Create with Connie and Mary and our newest color challenge –

Lovely colors!

And, I used them to create this lovely birthday card –

libbystamps, stampin up, Birthday Wit, Stitched Shapes Framelits, Layering Circles Framelits, Sweet Soiree DSP, Balloon Builder Punch, Journaling Pens, CCMC

Fun, colorful! A card suitable for anyone – young, old, male, female!

I started by stampin the greeting in two colors, Old Olive and Calypso Coral. I hand cut Happy Birthday from one of the images. The other one, I framelit cut close to the words. That way, adding the Happy Birthday, it’ll hang over the edge!

I added those to a Whisper White card base with a full 5 1/2 x 4 1/4 piece of Designer Series Paper on the front. The balloons added a nice ‘birthday’ touch!

Check out the other Design team cards on our blog. Want to create a card and show off your work? You can do so on our Facebook page. Looking forward to seeing you there!

Stampin’ Up Supplies –

  • Stamp Set – Birthday Wit
  • Framelits – Stitched Shapes, Layering Circles
  • Card Stock – Whisper White, Calypso Coral, Peekaboo Peach
  • Ink – Old Olive, Calypso Coral
  • DSP – Sweet Soiree
  • Punches – Balloon Builder

Blogging Friends Blog Hop – CASE a Blog Hop Member

Happy Easter my friends! Thank you so much for taking the time to stop by and see my creations!

I decided to CASE this post from Mary Blocher of Power Huff stamping. Take a quick peek, but come right back so you can follow the hop! She made a set of narrow cards using this Designer Series Paper, oval and circle framelits, and flowers.

These are my cards –

libbystamps, stampin up, Yay You, Petals & More Thinlits, Stitched Shapes Framelits, 2 1/2 Circle, Petal Passion DSP, BFBH, blog hop

They are the Narrow Note Cards & Envelopes from the Occasions Mini. The set comes with Whisper White, but I made mine in these soon to be retiring In-Colors. These are cut 9 x 2 1/2, scored at 4 1/2.

Here is an up close of each card and a little about them –
libbystamps, stampin up, Yay You, Petals & More Thinlits, Stitched Shapes Framelits, 2 1/2 Circle, Petal Passion DSP, BFBH, blog hopThis is Flirty Flamingo card stock. I used the Petal Passion Designer Series Paper on all the cards.

libbystamps, stampin up, Yay You, Petals & More Thinlits, Stitched Shapes Framelits, 2 1/2 Circle, Petal Passion DSP, BFBH, blog hop

This is Peekaboo Peach. I used two different framelits on the set, Petals & More and Stitched Shapes. I have gotten so much use from these two – well worth the investment!

libbystamps, stampin up, Yay You, Petals & More Thinlits, Stitched Shapes Framelits, 2 1/2 Circle, Petal Passion DSP, BFBH, blog hop

This is Sweet Sugarplum card stock. All the sentiments are from the hostess set in the Occasions mini, Yay You. Very encouraging words – I love them!
