I’m quite busy in planning cards for my March Card Buffet this upcoming weekend. Whew! Time flies!
Took some time out to design a card for Try Stamping on Tuesday. We have a cool sketch to follow this time around –
Challenge #313. Optional Theme : Beautiful Flowers
I had a card in mind just by looking at the sketch! Something fun and springlike –
Isn’t this great? I love it because it’s a little different from what is all over the interweb.
Of course, this is a favorite color combo of mine……
Notice the lovely background DSP? It’s FREE. Yes, free! Spend $50 from Stampin Up and you can select this as your free item because it’s Sale-a-Bration.
These die cut flowers really add some nice POP to this card! Both flower shapes come in the set.
Hard to tell in the picture, but I adhered just the round center to the black flower back. Either way, still a lovely card! I think it will be on the Card Buffet this weekend!
Comments are always appreciated.

We are in the last month of Sale-a-bration. This is the perfect time to stock up on many basic things that you use all the time – Whisper White card stock, soon to be retiring In-Colors, adhesive, envelopes, ink refills – and get something FUN with these purchases. Or, just get that bundle and get something free!
I created this quick Thank You card –
I used two free items here. DSP and the stamp set! The card took about 5 minutes to make. It will mean a lot more when it’s received!
So. What can I get free for you today?

I have a fun and bright birthday wish today for try Stampin’ on Tuesday.
We have a new challenge –
Challenge #309. Optional Theme : I Wish…..
This is what I created –
Nice. Bold. Bright!
I combined three different product lines here : the 2016-2017 Idea Book and Catalog, the 2017 Occasions Mini and the 2017 Sale-a-bration catalog!
Altogether, they created a wonderfully bright fun card! These focal points are from the mini. I punched out circles and then die cut them.
This sentiment is from a great collection of several sentiments, Better Together. (When I decided what color to stamp it in, I debated between the Memento and Basic Grey, Looks like I should have gone with the Memento…oh well…)
In person this is a really fun card! What do you think? I’d love to read your comments!
And, you can see what our design team created on our blog or our Facebook page. You can also play long in either place too!
Should read, help. Help is on the way…..
A have a couple of friends who have RA, Rheumatoid Arthritis, (recently noted, Shelli Gardner, Stampin’ Up! founder does too) and the days can be unpredictable in how they feel.
Lately it’s been really rough for one of my friends. Luckily, today she go in to have a procedure to get some relief. Praises for her! And, of course, I had to create a card for her!
I originally cut this piece of DSP, a FREEBIE with Sale-a-Bration, and looked at the images that we created by the cut. I really liked the bee on the flower on the right side. That became the area in which I created around.
I thought the die cut sentiment and stamped image was pretty appropriate.
All in all she will ‘get it’. She’s just that way!
So now after she feeling less pain, we can get back to our card making sessions!!!
Side note when designing a card with a dark base with an angled front DSP panel, make the inside writing area, angled the same way too!
