Aw, cute little Foxy here telling you to take care of yourself! Adorable, right?
Today, I’m playing along with Freshly Made Sketches. I came up with this sweet card using a variety of products this time around. Past few cards have been very simple. So, today I went all out.
I stamped the Foxy image and then cut around his tail. When I laid the Oval Framelit on top to cut the image out, I placed the tail on top of the framelit. When I ran it through the Sizzix that portion of the tail was spared the cut! Therefor, allowing it to peek over the frames! Clever, huh?
I outlined in marker the speech bubble and stamped it separately. Before cutting it out, I stamped my words. First try, not too bad. Freehand too! Hard to find words small enough and appropriate for what I wanted to say here. But, I did. Used a retired word only set called, Sweet Little Sentiments.
I just kept adding to this card until I felt it was just right. I’m happy with the way it turned out. Great sketch again Freshly Made Sketches!
I’m sure this card will be a definite perk up!
Ears to you, that’s right. This was one of the Easter card choices at my March Card Buffet. Cute, huh? Not one of your traditional color styles for Easter, but it sure works!
The patterned paper is from the Spring Mini, Print Poetry Designer Series Paper Pack. I just love this little versatile pack of paper. So many uses. So many colors. Patterns galore. No big paper commitment. Priced right.
Quick post for today as I have been caught by the allergy bug. Ugh.
Did I inspire you anyway?
Just the cutest little nugget holders today to show. I made these for my coworkers. Working retail means working on days like today, St. Patrick’s Day. Oh well, you make it the sweetest at least!
What do you think of my little green and golden gems?
Feeling Lucky? I am, maybe a bit. I love how this card turned out.
This card was inspired by Freshly Made Sketches, Sketch #74 to be exact. And, because St. Patrick’s Day is right around the corner….you see where I’m going with this.
I am really lovin’ this Print Poetry Paper Stack in the Spring Mini. There is SOO many prints to choose from. Yes, some are reprints in different colors from previous DSP patterns – but, these are smaller patterns which makes it perfect for adding it to card fronts. Not to mention the 4 1/2 x 6 1/2 size. Price is nice at $6.95 for 48 sheets too!
So, add an inexpensive Doily and your possibilities are endless for the amount of cards you can create. Mine started with a Naturals White Base. It adds a little color with the specks in it, and, the weight has such a nice feel to it. Make for a nice, crisp card.
So, I think I did pretty well with this weeks FMS Challenge. What do you think?
