Time for a Try Stampin’ on Tuesday challenge.
This week we have a sketch designed by Donna –
Challenge #315. Optional theme : Three Different Patterns.
What a creative sketch! I was inspired to create this –
I loved pulling out some – FREE with a $50 purchase and – soon-to-retire DSP – Designer Series Paper to create this fresh’n fruity card!
My ‘three’ patterns are the polka dot background paper from Tasty Treats, and the partial circle and strawberries from Fruit Stand DSP! Yes, those strawberries are hand cut from one of the patterns!!! How cool is that?
Side note, the Fruit Stand is a FREE option for a $50 order during Sale-a-Bration.
Cool layout. Cool card using cool layout!
Please leave me a comment about your thoughts on the card. I’d love a read from you.
Check out what the other Design Team created here. You can link up your card either on our blog or Facebook! See you there!
What an awful few days for me.
Started Sunday at class where I began to lose my voice. Felt a little feverish and just not right. Then the coughing set in. Painful, raw coughing. Decided I might want to check it out. Upper Respiratory Infection. Yikes.
The cards must go on, late or not. It’s Wednesday and time Watercooler Wednesday challenge. Penny choose a Masculine Anything goes.
I did mange to make a card the other day during the worst of this.
I am rather pleased with it considering!
I am a real big fan of this stamp set too. I’ve gotten lots of use from it.
I think it pretty cool how I mimicked the inside to the outside.
Simply a great masculine card, you think?
Join us at the Watercooler to see what the others created.

And, a layout inspiration from CAS(E) this sketch –
Great starting points, right?
And, we can always use thank you cards –
Cute. Thank you cards.
I just loved these sweet little carrots! A whole bunch! Lol!
The sentiment is in the stamp set too! Coordinates perfectly!
So? Winner? Perhaps I should create a bunch of these? Orange you glad you stopped by?
Ha-Ha-Ha! Silly title!
I made my card for a Facebook only challenge for Stampin’ Girls Gone Wild!
Great layout for my design –
This is SUCH a fun little die. It’s from the Window Box Thinlits. Admittedly, I got this die set just for this die!
This is my first card to create using this die. I absolutely LOVE it!!!
This card speaks for itself! I can’t wait to send it out!
Whew. I managed to get through my Card Buffet this past weekend – it was SO much fun. I posted pictures here.
Now, to get back to my routine card making! It’s Wednesday, time for a challenge from Watercooler Wednesday!
Today, our challenge is this –
I usually love a Masculine challenge. Today, my creativity is a bit on the not-so-creative side. But, that’s ok. We all have days like this.
I whipped up this –
Simple. Sweet. And, as it says, ‘There’s no special reason for this card…’ Because there is not.
I just leave the hubs cards, just because.
What’s even better? This card uses leftover parts from my class over the weekend! Yay! Nothing wasted.
Head over to the Watercooler Wednesday site to see all the remarkably energized cards the other design team members created. I am certain that we have inspired you to play along this week!!
A comment, please?

I’ve been prepping all week for a Card Buffet this weekend. I always look to challenges to spark my creativity when creating the projects for the event.
This time I ran across Hand Stamped Sentiments for some inspirational colors –
I had an idea for a feminine type card, but I needed color direction. These colors were PERFECT!
I was interested in using the Celebrations Duo twice to show off how cool it is. And, cost-effective too! So I came up with this –
I love it!!!! It’s a very similar card to this one.
I spritzed each panel with half water and half alcohol prior to embossing to soften the paper. This is a rather deep impressions folder and it can crease or dimple the card stock if you don’t.
The simple, minimal stamped sentiment goes well with the repeated HAPPY. And the Emerald Envy Baker’s Twine is THE finishing touch this card needed!
I think this will be a popular card this weekend. What do you think?
