I have created lots of different cards for Mother’s Day. I was thinking…..another one??
Well, after reading of some of my team members situations of loosing their own moms, I let that be my inspiration –
‘Mother in my heart’ – I thought was appropriate for the situation. And, simply done with the Labeler Alphabet!
Hard to see in both photos, but, the sentiment is framed with a scalloped piece of Copper Foil! It goes really nicely with all the shades of pink here. The card base is Blushing Bride, layered with the embossed Pink Pirouette. So pretty!
Stamp Set – Labeler Alphabet
Framelits – Layering Squares, Stitched Shapes
Card Stock – Pink Pirouette, Blushing Bride, Whisper White
This week it’s a new sketch to spark your creativity!
Isn’t this a nice layout? So many options with this one!
Since Easter is around the corner, I decided to create a sweet little Easter card –
Doesn’t this make you just ‘hoppy’ to see it?
This little bunny is the sweetest! Luckily, with the Labeler Alphabet, I was able to custom create my sentiment! Nifty, huh?
I stamped and hand cut the tiny little bow tie – just because – to create a much needed detail for bunny. The framelits did the rest for me! If you haven’t looked closely at these framelits….check them out. The set is super cute!
The other designers created a variety of cards using the sketch. Check them out! I hope we inspire you to create a card. Those can be linked up on our Facebook page

I played around with a few things but ended up really liking this –
It’s fun, non Valentine.
I created the layer for the corner. I die cut a scallop circle that I wrapped around that corner. The circle is made from those Sending Love Glassine sheets (page 14) from the Occasions Mini. I bet you didn’t even notice them did you? I flipped it over so you don’t really see the pattern on them.
It made a perfect canvas to stamp my word, G A L E T I N E on!
It’s simply a fun card!
I think I’ll give it to my daughter later for our Galentine lunch!
Comments are always welcomed and a joy to read!
**Galentine’s Day is a holiday Amy Poehler’s Parks and Rec character Leslie Knope created that occurs every year on Feb. 13, the day before Valentine’s Day. As Leslie herself explains on the show: “Oh, it’s only the best day of the year.
I decided to play around with this Basket Bunch Bundle from the Occasion Mini catalog.
I didn’t get too far in playing because I stopped with these little cuties! You’ll understand…..
I get weekly updates from Freshly Made Sketches. It was my first sketch challenge to follow and play around with. I still love their style, but haven’t played around with then in forever!
This week, this is their challenge –
I struck me as I was looking at the pieces from this bundle. I quickly came up with this sweet little card –
AhDOORable, right?? Because who doesn’t love Peeps??
I stamped each one and framelit cut them out. Yes. there IS a coordinating framelit for these little cuties!
I stamped the greeting after eyeballing the placement of the Peeps. I popped each one up on a partial Dimensional. The inside of the card says ‘Peeps’ using the same Labeler Alphabet.
In looking at the sketch, the solid color lines reminded me of the long narrow boxes Peeps come in. Sometimes, the larger packs have 9 peeps if I recall…..Anyway, this sketch just spoke to me with these Peeps!!
I’d love to hear what you think of the card! I can’t wait to make a few more and send them out!!!
