So, it’s time for a new two-week challenge from Try Stampin’ on Tuesday –
Challenge #321. Optional Theme : As the Garden Grows
This is a great theme and layout as things are blooming everywhere! So, why not a blooming birthday card??
Isn’t this just the prettiest? I really had forgotten about this stamp set and framelits pair. Sadly, it’s about to retire from Stampin’ Up. I decided I needed to play with it a few more times before it goes to sit on the shelf so more!
The flower is actually two flowers layered together with a dimensional in between them. Of course, a few more behind the flowers and designer series paper layer too! Adds so much drama!
The embossed panel added just enough interest for the card. Makes it a little more dressy!
I created a fabulous card with the layout and the added theme. I hope to have inspired you! Please leave me a nice comment.
You can see the other Design Team cards for inspiration here on our blog . You can link up a card there or on our Facebook page as well! Looking forward to seeing you!
What a fun sounding card, right? Well, it is!
I combined a few neat-o products to pull this card off –
It’s a dimensional card of sorts with its front pocket. You can pull the flowers out –
Nice for a lovely note or even a gift card!
I was thinking maybe something like this for my Card Buffet this weekend…….
I started with the Berry Basket Die, using only one side and the ‘bottom’. The ‘bottom’ is what makes the pocket. I folded it back. Dimensionals move it away from the card. The base is single here.
The pull out has all the flowers. Lots os stamping and die cutting! Punches would be more efficient in class. Nonetheless, a GREAT card that will surely make anyones day.
Stay tuned for a more Card Buffet friendly version.
Yes. Easter is right around the corner. Have you made your cute treats for everyone yet? If not, I have an idea for you today.
When this Curvy Keepsake Box came out, it did not appeal to me. Until. Until I saw a pumpkin made with it. I was sold. Since then, I have made lots of other cute little things with this thinlit die.
Today, I’m sharing my little bunny –
Isn’t it adorable? And just look at the back –
The little bunny ‘tail’……too cute!
No. This is not a new unseen creation. But, my take on it is. I used the Naturals White Card Stock for starters. And, I used the Flower Fair Framelits for the ears and tail. My ear inserts are the retired Small Oval Punch.
These can be created in no time. And, they hold a nice amount of treats!
