Happy Easter my friends! Thank you so much for taking the time to stop by and see my creations!
I decided to CASE this post from Mary Blocher of Power Huff stamping. Take a quick peek, but come right back so you can follow the hop! She made a set of narrow cards using this Designer Series Paper, oval and circle framelits, and flowers.
These are my cards –
They are the Narrow Note Cards & Envelopes from the Occasions Mini. The set comes with Whisper White, but I made mine in these soon to be retiring In-Colors. These are cut 9 x 2 1/2, scored at 4 1/2.
Here is an up close of each card and a little about them – This is Flirty Flamingo card stock. I used the Petal Passion Designer Series Paper on all the cards.
This is Peekaboo Peach. I used two different framelits on the set, Petals & More and Stitched Shapes. I have gotten so much use from these two – well worth the investment!
This is Sweet Sugarplum card stock. All the sentiments are from the hostess set in the Occasions mini, Yay You. Very encouraging words – I love them!

I went with an Easter theme – that just shouts pastels to me! Plus, its Easter tomorrow!
I just looked at my Subtles Collection for inspiration here!
Started with a Pink Pirouette card base. Layered (not a color in the Subtles family) Lemon Lime Twist Designer Series Paper from the Fresh Florals pack. Followed by Soft Sky and a stamped So Saffron egg.
The beautiful cross is from Crosses of Hope. It’s cut in Copper Foil. The ‘celebrate’ is in Calypso Coral. And, yes, it was a Sale-a-Bration offering but will be carried over in to the next catalog! Yay!! I hope you were lucky enough to receive that!
I love this sketch! It’s fabulous! Nice, clean, bold blocks of color.
I went with a nontraditional Easter theme on my card –
It’s just adorable! Wouldn’t you agree?
I started out with my colors and then went to adding the embossing and placement on the card.
I cut the ‘bunnies’ from the Cookie Cutter Builder Punch. I removed the ‘arms’ with a straight cut. And, I cut the ears a little deeper and longer. Stamped the face from the Foxy Friends and this is what I call a bunny!
The other Design team members created some nice Easter cards too! Check them out on our blog. If you like to link up a card, you can do so on our blog or our Facebook page. Hope to see you there!
Our theme this week is saying goodbye to Sale-a-Bration. It’ll be ending at the end of March.
There are sooo many wonderful Sale-a-Bration products this year. Additional items were added earlier in the week too. So, choosing what to create with – too many choices!
I choose a newly added item, the Sweet Cake framelits –
It’s a simple card, beautiful nonetheless! These flowers are the star of the show! I love the center heart detailing! Did you even notice that? I only adhered a tiny bit of each flower so they are sticking out in random areas.
The simple stamped image is also from a Sale-a-Bration set, Eclectic Expressions.
If you are wondering, there is a coordinating stamp set available for purchase to these framelits too!
Go forward to see Debbie Henderson, and back to Mary Brown and their Sale-a-Bration goodbye creations. I know you’ll want them all!
I have been itching to play with the new Apron of Love bundle. So, I finally thought these colors were perfect to design with!
I started by cutting the apron from the Sale-a-Bration Designer Series Paper, Bubbles & Fizz.
I used the hostess set, Yay You, to stamp the hearts on either side of the strip of Lemon Lime Twist (it’s part of a card from the Tutti-Frutti Cards & Envelopes, a free Sale-a-Bration item).
The trim along the bottom of the apron is the same as the Calypso Coral trim along the side of the Lemon Lime Twist strip. It’s one of the framelits included in the set! So are the cute little utensils and the apron pocket! This set is just adorable!
