Watercooler Wednesday #122 – Libby’s Feminine ‘Anything Goes’ Challenge

Taking a pause from Open House planning to create for a Watercooler Wednesday challenge!

And, guess what? It’s MY challenge this week! YAY!! Yippee, happy dance!

This will be SO much fun! Excited to see what you create to join me this week. Here is my inspiration past the picture –

libbystamps, stampin up, Happy Birthday Gorgeous, , Happy Birthday Gorgeous Bundle, Happy Birthday Gorgeous, Happy Birthday Thinlits, feminine card, WWC

We have SO many great products in the new Stampin’ Up catalog. This bundle, Happy Birthday Gorgeous, is one of my favorites!!!

It’s a single framelit with a coordinating stamp set, Happy Birthday Gorgeous. The stamp set has lots of great words and flowers and balloons! As a matter of fact, I used it over the weekend too!

What I love about this – the background stamping. I added four of the flowery images to a block and just started randomly stamping. They just fit in so perfectly! Helps being a clear, photopolymer stamp too.

I double cut the sentiment and glued it to look shadowed. It helped to make it *pop* a bit more.

Clearly, a nice ‘feminine’ styled card.

See what our other Design Team members created and join us! Remember, it’s ‘Anything Goes’.

  1. Oh I love this. beautifully feminine without being all pink and girly.
I particularly like your shadow on the sentiment – it really makes it stand out.
Thank you so much for choosing my card over at Watercooler Wednesday. It was a thrill to see it up there.

  2. Libby this is such a great feminine birthday card without the ultra girly images or frills we usually associate with femininity. Love the colour combo and how you stamped the background. When I saw the thinlet in the cattie I only had eyes for it and totally missed there was a coordinating stamp set. Thanks for sharing and enabling.

  3. Libby, using that Daffodil Delight is a brilliant move. It really helps the stamped images pop and, wow, does it ever look great behind that die-cut. Great idea to use a layered die-cut. Not only does it offer shading, but it helps add dimension. Love it!
