It’s On Its Way, CCMC422

Happy Thursday!

This is part of Three Post Thursday for me! This one is for Create with Connie and Mary!

Today we have a color challenge –

CCMC422

Some lovely soft colors that initially got me stumped.

However, it didn’t take long for me to create this –

libbystamps, stampin up, Sunshine Sayings, Jar of Haunts, Timeless Textures, CCMC422, fall card

A nice fall transition card!

These colors reminded me of spices – pumpkin spices for some reason. So, I just went with that theme for the card.

The sentiment ‘is on its way’ struck me as well. Because Fall will be here before we know it. So, I added the individual letters to spell F A L L .

Friends are already starting the pumpkin spice craze! This is very appropriate!

I added lots of dimension on this card by popping up the first two layers and the pumpkin. It really adds so much to a card.

This is just a lovely card, wouldn’t you agree? Please leave me a comment – those are a delight to read!

And head over to Create with Connie and Mary to see how the others design team members used these colors. Some great cards I must say!

Supplies used –

  • Stamp Set – Jar of Haunts (N), Sunshine Sayings, Timeless Textures
  • Card Stock – Peekaboo Peach, Calypso Coral, Sahara Sand, Whisper White
  • Ink – Peekaboo Peach, Calypso Coral, Sahara Sand
  • Other – Dimensionals
Happy Stampin’

  1. Love the pumpkin spice theme!!! I kind of burnt myself out of Pumpkin Spice coffee last year, but have seen lots of flavors on other things, too! Is that pumpkin from Jar of Haunts? Great job with the color challenge this week!

    • Thanks, Connie! I can’t believe I forgot to tag the Jar of Haunts stamp set – thanks for the point out! I got rather burnt out on the whole PS years ago. Like Christmas, it seems to come earlier and earlier every year! This is my little jab at that trend. Although, I LOVE fall!
