Waves for WWC80

Ok. So the room is still getting put back together…….and, who doesn’t love to be greeted by craft crap goodness when they enter the house???

I’m managing to work on some card challenges too. Whew.

Today, it’s for Watercooler Wednesday.

We have a challenging challenge today –

It’s good to be challenged! After all, that’s why we participate in these!

And, did you see, this is a clean AND simple card too! Which means minimal everything. Everything.

But, I love a good CAS card. I came up with this –

libbystamps, stampin up, Sunburst Sayings, WWC80, thank you, water, Just Us Girls

Yeah? Yeah?

libbystamps, stampin up, Sunburst Sayings, WWC80, thank you, water, Just Us Girls

Quite clean. Quite simple. And, the water theme? Pretty spot on I’d say.

The hardest part of this card was stamping without the edges touching the paper. And, yeah, I failed a few times. But this was the best out of 5 attempts at this design. Ha!

Each ‘water’ line was inked up and stamped four times

Go check out the other Design Team creations and join us – surely you’ll be inspired!

I also decided to double up on the challenge. I ran across Just Us Girls who had a theme of, no doubt, WATER! So how perfect was that?

 Supplies used –

  • Stamps – Sunburst Sayings
  • Card Stock – Real Red, Whisper White
  • Ink – Dapper Denim (N), Real Red
Happy Stampin’

  1. Libby I’m just amazed at how your mind works. You did nail this one. They asked for “water” and you gave them water, in a wonderful way. Thanks for sharing your creativity, it never fails to blow me out of the “water”!

  2. What a terrific interpretation of our water word over at JUGS! Great card! So glad you joined us and I hope you will consider joining us again soon!
