Thank You So Much, CCMC410

Happy Thursday everyone! Today is Create with Connie and Mary day for me. And, this week we have a color challenge –

CCMC410

These could go anyway! But, playing with new stuff lately, I went with a clean and simple design just to try out some new stamps –

libbystamps, stampin up, Playful Backgrounds, Thankful Thoughts, CCMC410, Thank You

See. Right? It was rather fun to come up with.

My layer just kept building. I started with the stamped sentiment from a new set,   , in the boldest color, Bermuda Bay.

Looking at the card after that, I pulled out another new set,   . I decided the Crumb Cake open circles would work great next. Lastly, I added the Daffodil Delight solid circles. I think the stamp set,  , is going to be one of my favorite go-to’s. It’s great for backgrounds!

All in all, it was a super quick card. Lastly, a string of the thick baker’s twine made a nice addition to the card.  Don’t you agree? Leave me some good ‘card-carma’ and tell me your thoughts.

Then head over to Create with Connie and Mary and see what the other wonderful designers did with these colors. Baby? Masculine? Bold? Who knows – just go see for yourself!

Supplies used –

  • Stamps – Playful Backgrounds, Thankful Thoughts
  • Card Stock – Crumb Cake, Whisper White
  • Ink – Bermuda Bay, Crumb Cake, Daffodil Delight,
  • Other – Bermuda Bay Thick Baker’s Twine
Happy Stampin’

  1. I just LOVE this card Libby! A great CAS card with lots of colour and interest! I received the Playful Backgrounds set at Onstage and haven’t used it as I didn’t know what to do with it. Casing you will be my starting point!

  2. LOVE new stamps! It’s always so much fun to play! Nice CAS design for the color challenge…great job!
