You Mean

……something snarky? No, not today. A serious card. Trying to create a few Valentine’s cards for family.

I was inspired by Create with Connie and Mary. A nice color challenge –

CCMC392

Very sweet colors! Neutral enough for guys too. Just go more on the Crumb Cake!

Since I have family spread all over, I came up with this using some of the Going Global stuff –

libbystamps, Stampin Up, CCMC392, Going Global Stamp, World Traveler Embossing Folder, Sweetheart Punch,

Quite simple, but it gets the point across. We are far apart. You mean the world to me. You are loved.

libbystamps, Stampin Up, CCMC392, Going Global Stamp, World Traveler Embossing Folder, Sweetheart Punch,

I love this embossed ‘globe’. It really ties in everything. And, the retired strip of hearts on the heart. That name of the folder escapes me!

I’m not sure who will end up with this design, daughters or brother, mother-in-law. Who knows! I’ll make more of this one or a few other designs.

Happy Stampin’

  1. I couldn’t agree more – the sentiment and embossing folder are the perfect pair! It looks great in pink too. Thanks for joining us over at Create With Connie and Mary this week!

  2. What a fabulous use of the folder and that sentiment! A great way to say “I love you”, and I also must say that I love how you have added the ribbon! Thank you for joining us at Create with Connie and Mary!

    • Thanks Chris! I like the addition of ribbon, but sometimes you just got to change it up! I appreciate you stopping by to leave a compliment.

  3. I never thought of the “global” aspect of family members far away, but it is so perfect! LOVE the “girly” colors done with that folder…I’ve mainly seen masculine cards done with it! Thanks for playing along with the color challenge this week on Create with Connie and Mary!

    • Thanks for stopping by and leaving a compliment! The global aspect is why I got this set, great to send to those all over the globe!
