To a Great Friend

I missed posting yesterday because I was working on this card. I just didn’t get it finished in time.

I saw this sketch from Technostamper that I just loved! It’s another great Monday Lunchtime Sketch. See for yourself –

I was really itching to play along. After some long hard thought and a few trashed pieces of paper, I finally created this –

Libbystamps, Stampin Up, Simply Wonderful Stamps Set, Butterflies Thinlits, Party Pennants Bigz Die, Scallop Edge Border Punch, Spring Flowers Embossing Folder, Painted Blooms DSP, In Color Accessory Pack, Sale-A-Bration

It’s busy, but fun! I’m really liking these Butterfly Framelits. So easy to work with when I use the dryer sheet technique!!!!

I added my components to fit the layout. Then I went back and embossed the Lost Lagoon layer. I thought it still needed something, so I added the little tiny button and the Thick Baker’s Twine from the In Color Accessory Pack (it’s an additional Sale-a-Bration option). That’s all it needed.

I’m glad to have used some of those, ‘I just had to have’ items, but, hadn’t gotten around to using them!

I’m off to work on my Card Buffet this weekend! So many great cards to make this weekend!! I can’t wait!

Happy Stampin’

  1. I love this, not too busy at all. The colors are so fun. I just got this butterfly thinlet finally! So I will be using it on my next two posts. Love it. Your card is so fun thanks so much for playing along with my sketch challenge this week!

    • Thanks. I’m not really a butterfly person. Until. Until I got this framelit – it’s very fun. Thanks for the great inspiration from your sketch!
